American Sterling Silver Heavy Weight Georgian Style Gravy / Sauce Boat
Presented is a lovely American sterling silver gravy or sauce boat. This piece dates to around the 1910s-1950s. The sauce boat is made in a classical 1760s English style, featuring three hoof style feet and an elegantly scrolled handle. The body of the piece has bold shell decorations where the feet join the bottom. This is a well made, heavy weight piece, with a generously large capacity. This gravy boat would be an excellent addition to any table setting.
This piece is in excellent condition. There are no splits, no dents, no breaks, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
This piece is stamped and guaranteed sterling, as well as a maker's mark we unfortunately do not recognize.
