Antique Chinese Earrings, Carved Jadeite Carnelian Sterling Pierced

Description

These earrings are newly made by a jeweler, using antique Chinese stone ornaments/buttons.  These are of carnelian agate (peach/orange) and pale green jadeite.  The antique clothing ornaments were seized by the Chinese Gov in the 1960's Cultural Revolution; then sold for export in the 1980's; so any personal info about them is lost.  They are guaranteed to be authentic.
The ornaments were matched for visual balance and beauty; then they were cold-joined with sterling silver wire and various findings as needed, to create stable earrings while preserving the value and integrity of each antique carving.  The result is one very rare and beautiful pair of earrings that have intrinsic value in themselves.  One of a kind; and because there is a limited supply of these antique pieces to work with,  very precious.
