This card was purchased in Amsterdam, Netherlands by my friend, Lotje. She scours all the great cities of Europe for unusual and beautiful vintage and antique postcards.
This postcard was shipped from The Netherlands to the USA by Lotje.
On the front of this  postcard is the portrait of a gorgeous Airedale Terrier. Under the portrait is the famous Gaulis signature.   On the back is a handwritten message in English, an address in Switzerland and a 1944 Swiss postmark.   The postcard was originally made in Switzerland circa 1940.
Measurements are approximately:  3.5" x 5.5" so this is a standard rsize postcard.  Aside from some very small signs of surface wear, this postcard is still easy to see and appreciate!
