Vintage KLM Business Class Dutch Delft Ceramic Tile Coasters, Lot of 5- EXTREMELY RARE!! 1981. Hard-to-find Collectible. Highly sought Antique Blue Cream Pattern. From the KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. Founded in 1919, KLM is the oldest airline in the world still operating under the original name. Just celebrated it’s 100th year anniversary. Tiles are of ceramic and free of any cracks, nicks, or breaks. Corners are sharp and tight. Faces of tiles are a high gloss paint with the classic ceramic blue cream paintings. Smooth, glossy finish. No fading or peeling. Backing of the tiles are the classic KLM business class blue felt background. Soft and velvety. Coloring is a vibrant royal blue with classic white lettering. No fading or highlighting. No stains or discolorations. Felt is secure in all coasters with no peeling or fraying. Coasters depict late 1800’s-early 1900’s Netherlands Cultural History.
