Vintage Macbeth-Evans American Sweetheart Monax 6 1/2" Bread Butter Plate

These plates are in excellent condition.  There are no nicks, chips, or cracks.  A stray light utensil scratch here and there.  I have multiples of these plates.  You may purchase one or as many as I have left.  Price listed is for one plate. Most of the information that follows is from

page 13.  American Sweetheart Pattern made by Macbeth Evans from 1930-1936.  This color is called Monax and it appears white with a smokie blue haze.  I have my plates pictured with a black background to bring out the blue.  In person they appear almost white as in the last picture.  Monax is the most popular color of this pattern.  Here we have the Bread and Butter plate.  An oddity about these plates are that some were made with the design in the center and after a time it was decided that the center decoration frequently was damaged by cutting with a knife so the center decoration was discontinued.  These plates do not have the decoration in the center and they are in great condition.  If buying multiples it is always best to check with the seller for a shipping quote.  The eBay calculator is not always spot on when figuring out the shipping costs.
Please look at the pictures carefully as they are a better description that anything I could write.  I use pictures to show accurately the condition of item listed.  I do not try to hide flaws, in fact I showcase anything that I think might be of interest to the buyer.  Sorry for all the glare and reflections.  Use the enlargement feature!  If you would like anything clarified in a picture or a picture from a different angle, just let me know and I am happy to accommodate as best as I can.
