Vivo isn’t slowing down with phone launches. After releasing the Vivo V40 and V40 Pro, the brand is now gearing up to introduce the Vivo V40e, expected by the end of September. According to SmartPrix, this will be the most affordable model in the V40 series. Just days ago, Vivo also launched the T3 Ultra, which shares the same design as the V40 but features a more powerful processor. With the V40e, Vivo aims to offer a budget-friendly option without compromising on design or key features.
As per the report, the Vivo V40e 5G is expected to flaunt a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, delivering the same premium display quality seen in the previous models. It will offer up to 4,500 Nits of peak brightness and 1,200 Nits in high-brightness mode (HBM), ensuring vibrant visuals and smooth scrolling.
Under the hood, the device will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, a capable processor found in devices like the OPPO Reno12. This places the Vivo V40e 5G comfortably in the Rs 20,000 to Rs 30,000 price segment, offering solid performance for everyday tasks.
Camera enthusiasts will be pleased with the 50 MP Sony IMX882 main sensor paired with an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle lens. Selfie lovers are in for a treat with a 50 MP front camera, likely the same as in the V40 Pro, ensuring crisp and detailed shots.
The phone will boast a slim design despite packing a hefty 5500 mAh battery. While the exact charging speed isn’t confirmed yet, the device will feature an IP65 rating, making it resistant to water and dust. It will run on Android 14 with Funtouch OS 14.
Available in two color options, Monsoon Green and Royal Bronze, and two storage variants (8 GB + 128 GB and 8 GB + 256 GB), the Vivo V40e 5G is set to take on competitors like the OPPO F27 Pro+ and Reno 12. Keep an eye out for its launch by the end of the month!
